Ideal candidates for this role are software engineers who thrive on engaging with customers and resolving their issues during the pre-sales phase. They’re developers who relish tackling customer challenges through architectural design, presentations, and training. Ubuntu is virtually ubiquitous across enterprises worldwide and across industries, presenting an exceptional opportunity to gain insights into the open source technology landscape and foster business acumen. This role is particularly suited for candidates with a technical background who possess a commercial mindset and are motivated by achieving business success. As a part of our global Field Engineering team, you’ll collaborate closely with enterprise sales leads, focusing on tackling the most complex issues in contemporary data architectures. Whether it’s training LLMs on multiple K8s clusters in a hybrid cloud environment with shared GPU resources or implementing object detection on thousands of parallel 4K video streams, these are the challenges we tackle daily.

In terms of location, the majority of our team members work remotely. We’re expanding our teams across various time zones, accommodating candidates from almost any country.
