Position: Data Entry Specialist

Reports To: VP/Executive Response & CIP Manager

This is a seasonal/contract role lasting 3.5 months, with an average of 40 hours per week. Due to its temporary nature, this position does not include benefits. The pay rate is $16-$17 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the validity of identification documents received from student account holders.
  • Update account records to reflect a CIP status of verified or unverified.
  • Notify account holders of rejected documents (expired, illegible, invalid) and request valid copies.
  • Process requests for customer information updates, including legal name changes and address changes.
  • Maintain both paper and electronic files accurately.
  • Handle customer inquiries received via email, fax, and mail.

Qualifications:

  • Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
