The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales professional with expertise in the Public Sector vertical to join our team. The successful candidate will develop and execute territory plans, drive sales cycles, and expand Neo4j’s footprint in target agencies and markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory plans targeting key agencies and use cases, generating a pipeline of opportunities to meet sales metrics.
  • Gain expert knowledge of Neo4j solutions and their applicability in the target market.
  • Present the benefits and advantages of graph technology to customers, emphasizing its superiority over alternative database approaches.
  • Execute sales cycles employing Strategic Selling strategies and tactics.
  • Build and present proposals for Neo4j solutions, collaborating with Pre-Sales Engineering resources to deliver well-qualified POCs.
  • “Land & Expand” by growing business within acquired accounts.
  • Provide guidance and support to Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Field Marketing resources to drive pipeline development.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information in Neo4j Salesforce.com CRM system.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of consistent success in enterprise software sales.
  • Experience selling information management tools in the enterprise market.
  • Demonstrable experience executing complex sales strategies and tactics.
  • Familiarity with the commercial open-source business model.
  • Strong conviction on the value proposition of graph solutions in the enterprise marketplace.
  • Ability to work remotely in a home-office environment and travel to client sites as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with corporate productivity tools.
