Your Influence

Under the supervision of the Head of Global Payroll and People Accounting, the Global Mobility Specialists will act as strategic partners to various teams including recruiting, immigration, Payroll, and People Operations. They will assist in crucial functions such as monitoring, administering, and supporting mobility programs, expatriate assignments, tax equalization, and multi-jurisdiction reporting. Responsibilities include upholding existing policies, providing guidance, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Location: Remote Reporting To: Senior Director, Global Payroll and People Accounting

Primary Duties:

Supporting Axon’s Global Traveler’s, Expatriate, and tax equalization initiatives. Offering guidance amid evolving business priorities to ensure compliance with laws related to working abroad. Analyzing HR data to identify trends and proposing data-based solutions to enhance employee engagement and team performance. Providing timely advice to business management to address employee issues effectively. Delivering insights to the Payroll organization regarding cross-border reporting and other mobility metrics. Collaborating with global HR teams to maintain consistency and meet the unique needs of travelers. Coordinating employee education on Traveler’s and non-resident return policies. Ensuring compliance with EU Posted Worker regulations. Monitoring and communicating international compliance changes. Assisting with the acquisition and setup of new international entities. Providing support for global accounting audits. Administering and enhancing annual travel surveys and data collection efforts. Supporting expatriate assignments, including tax estimations and repatriation arrangements. Reviewing expense details for mobility-related expenses. Partnering with the Global Payroll organization for cross-training and support. Coordinating visa requirements with the immigration team. Assisting in developing support mechanisms for expatriates. Maintaining documentation required by Ernst & Young for tax returns. Ensuring proper setup in relevant systems. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Executing compliance and administration of global employment and tax reporting requirements. Communicating effectively across departments and leading cross-collaborative projects. Managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Global Payroll, Global Mobility, Payroll Accounting, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quip, Outlook, Slack, Voxer, Sharepoint, and other tools. Experience in high-tech, SaaS, start-up, or complex growth environments preferred. Strong analytical skills using MS Excel. Familiarity with HR systems, Workday, and technology. Knowledge of best practices and regulations. Experience in full-cycle payroll or global mobility. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills.
