Job Description

Worldcoin (www.worldcoin.org) operates on an open-source protocol, with a global community dedicated to broadening access to the global economy. The Worldcoin Foundation (www.worldcoin.foundation) oversees the protocol’s development until it becomes self-sufficient. Tools for Humanity (www.toolsforhumanity.com) helped launch Worldcoin and continues to support the Foundation, as well as operating the World App.

Regarding the role of Head of APAC Communications, you’ll lead communication strategies across diverse Asia-Pacific markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Responsibilities include shaping the organization’s reputation, engaging stakeholders, and promoting its mission through earned media and owned content strategies. This role demands a strategic thinker experienced in communications, with a deep understanding of regional dynamics and the ability to navigate a dynamic environment effectively.

Key responsibilities include developing localized communication strategies, flawlessly executing various communication components, engaging stakeholders, managing media relations, creating compelling content, handling crisis communication, managing the brand, collaborating across functions, and analyzing performance.

Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, possess extensive experience in communications within the Asia-Pacific region, understand regional dynamics and media landscapes, and have a track record of successful communication strategies. Proficiency in digital communication tools, fluency in English, and the ability to travel are also required, with direct experience in Web3/Crypto being a plus.
