About the Position of Linux Endpoint Engineer:

Stairwell is seeking a skilled Linux Endpoint Engineer with expertise in endpoint agent technology and a focus on establishing robust agent infrastructure. Responsibilities of the Linux Endpoint Engineer:

  • Work collaboratively with fellow engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy features for Stairwell’s endpoint agent in Linux.
  • Establish infrastructure for testing and monitoring agents within various Linux distributions.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using your technical proficiency.

Qualifications for the Linux Endpoint Engineer:

  • Possess 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong background in software development using languages like Go, Rust, C, or C++.
  • Proficient in Linux systems programming interfaces, including audit, eBPF, container abstractions such as Cgroups and namespaces, and Systemd.
  • Experience with kernel drivers is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools, methodologies, and release processes.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about the security domain and emerging technologies shaping it.

Additional Information:

The position offers a minimum salary range of $160,000-180,000 plus equity and benefits.
