Job Description

As the Manager of Product Analytics at Hims and Hers, you and your team will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience by employing high-quality experimental design and hypothesis testing. This collaborative position involves working closely with product managers, growth leads, and marketing managers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Leveraging your expertise in A/B testing and digital analytics, along with a background in experimental design, you will contribute to the development of top-tier customer experiences. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Analytics, your responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting superior customer experiences through iterative testing to create engaging product experiences.
  • Developing business-oriented dashboards and conducting thorough analyses that articulate both the statistical significance and the business implications of experiments.
  • Collaborating with your team to delineate and refine the experimentation roadmap for product and growth initiatives.
  • Facilitating data accessibility by designing user-friendly templates featuring relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Defining the success criteria for tests and recommending product enhancements based on the findings.
  • Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with analytics, engineering, and growth teams to enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Consolidating insights from tests into actionable playbooks to elevate the digital experience.
  • Utilizing user segmentation based on demographic, behavioral, and psychographic attributes to personalize product experiences and communications.
  • Partnering with various teams, including product, engineering, growth, and finance, to align analytics endeavors with business objectives.
  • Conducting in-depth analyses to address specific business inquiries and offer actionable recommendations to product, marketing, and operational teams.

Qualified candidates should possess:

  • 5+ years of analytics experience.
  • 4+ years of A/B testing experience.
  • Proficiency in subscription metrics and CRM data management.
  • Strong analytical skills and a penchant for problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing long-term projects effectively.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency.
  • Expertise in version control systems like GitHub.
  • Programming experience in Python, SAS, or R.
  • Competence in data modeling, statistics, experimental design, and statistical inference.
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Ability to communicate technical analyses to non-technical stakeholders.

Additionally, candidates with the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • 6+ years of analytics experience.
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with incentives, loyalty programs, price testing, telehealth concepts, and project management.
  • Extensive experience in data engineering, model development, and training (predictive modeling).
  • Familiarity with DBT, Airflow, and Databricks.
