The Mission:
We are seeking a talented Principal Strategist, Life Sciences to join our Strategy team. The ideal candidate has experience in developing and leading Industry Go-To-Market strategies within cloud consulting organizations, delivering services for strategic customers, and is passionate about sharing their expertise. Your mission will be to define Caylent’s Go-To-Market strategy for the Life Sciences sector, working closely with our Sales and Service Delivery teams to ensure effective positioning and delivery to customers. Additionally, you will deliver strategic engagements for clients and serve as the primary industry expert within Caylent.

Your Assignment:

  1. Develop and Implement Caylent’s Life Sciences Go-To-Market:
  • Build and maintain the Life Sciences Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to bring the GTM strategy to AWS and customers, leading to the acquisition of new Strategic Customers.
  • Ensure alignment with Technical Practices to address market positioning and technical capabilities comprehensively.
  1. Deliver Strategic Engagements:
  • Play a pivotal role in delivering strategic engagements for key customers, providing industry expertise and guidance for impactful outcomes.
  • Offer support to other delivery resources and Principal Consultants in navigating industry-specific challenges.
  1. Industry Expertise – Syndication and Enablement:
  • Lead the enablement of internal teams on Industry knowledge, developing educational materials and training programs.
  • Populate libraries of vertical-specific materials aligned with Caylent’s frameworks.
  • Capture and disseminate wins and success stories within the Vertical to foster a culture of achievement and shared learning.

Experience:

  • Combined 10+ years of consulting experience in cloud and digital transformation or leadership within Life Sciences organizations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies, particularly within Life Sciences.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic engagements with key clients and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience enabling internal teams through educational materials and training programs.
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel for project kick-offs and key client milestones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of global and regional Life Sciences regulatory standards.
  • Experience leveraging technology in clinical trials and biotech advancements.
  • Knowledge of Life Sciences data privacy, security, supply chain complexities, and IP management.
  • AWS or other Cloud Certifications.
  • Experience with Fortune 2000 clients and Agile project delivery.

  • Base Salary Range: $185,000 – $206,500 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Additional Compensation Components: Bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives based on role and performance.
