Job Description

Responsible for assessing loan applications promptly to maintain an acceptable level of credit risk and ensure a favorable risk-return ratio. Facilitate the origination of new loans, guiding customers through our requirements and their obligations, and oversee the entire underwriting process until closure, ensuring a seamless transition to the Account Executive.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate various lending products efficiently, adhering to credit policies and minimum underwriting standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development Officers to offer a consultative credit perspective before and after proposal issuance.
  • Scrutinize new deal packages for completeness and conduct initial discussions with prospects.
  • Coordinate due diligence and documentation reviews, analyze financial statements and cash flows, and interpret field examinations.
  • Visit prospect locations, meeting management for significant transactions, to grasp their business and asset conversion cycle thoroughly.
  • Coordinate reporting requirements and processes with clients, analyzing debtor information alongside the Debtor Credit Manager.
  • Draft credit narratives for approval and oversee pre-funding confirmations and closing documentation.
  • Provide mentorship to analysts, field examiners, and less experienced business development representatives.
  • Undertake other duties and projects as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

  • Typically, a minimum of 8 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in secured lending, demonstrating strong credit management abilities.
  • Profound knowledge of secured lending, with the capability to underwrite transactions of varying sizes for factoring and Asset Based deals.
  • Preferably, experience in Asset-Based field examinations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, providing relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Strong competencies in customer service, collaboration, business acumen, communication, and negotiation.

Salary Range: $99,501.91 – $183,764.31 (Your recruiter can provide specific salary information for your location).
