Position Summary:

However, there is room for additional outputs based on your interests and the selected topic, such as posters, workshops, interactive web pages, participation in zine festivals, or other artistic interventions. The primary goal is to effectively communicate DAIR’s work to relevant communities, allowing for creative flexibility.

You will be expected to participate in weekly team meetings and maintain regular communication with your host.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in writing, particularly in scientific/technical or educational contexts
  • Interest in grassroots movement organizing, particularly in the tech sector

Candidates should possess at least one of the following:

  • Experience in graphic design and/or illustration
  • Previous involvement in creating zines through any medium
  • Basic knowledge of web design and development tools (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Proficiency in an artistic medium suitable for this work (e.g., traditional illustration, mixed media art, web/print design). Note: AI-assisted art practices are not desired.
