We’re looking for someone who’s well-versed in Linux and cloud tech. In this position, you’ll assist customers using Atmosphere, our open-source cloud tool, and support our internal CloudOps team managing our cloud infrastructure.If you’re into open-source and tech, this role at Atmosphere is perfect for you. You’ll join a team of pros and play a vital role in our users’ success.Your job will involve tackling complex tech issues, from cloud environment glitches to system crashes. Our goal is top-notch customer support.We’re growing fast and need problem solvers passionate about improving our cloud solutions. This is a remote position, preferably for candidates in the Americas timezones.You should have experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible. Bonus if you know Atmosphere, Prometheus, Python, SRE, or Infrastructure as Code. Working from home is a perk.Responsibilities:

  • Help customers and our CloudOps team via phone, tickets, and remote sessions.Solve complex issues with Atmosphere’s products.Share knowledge in our team and with customers.Meet our Service Level Agreement for customer support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related, or equivalent experience.Good grasp of cloud architecture.Proficient in Kubernetes and Ceph or other storage platforms.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently.

Preferred:

  • Experience with OpenStack and cloud services.Relevant certifications like Certified OpenStack Administrator.Familiarity with ML2/OVS or OVN.Understanding of networking protocols and principles.
