The Opportunity – Partner Specialist & Education Coordinator

As the Partner Specialist & Education Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting FreshBooks’ Accounting Partner Program. Your primary objective will be to deliver exceptional experiences daily for our partners—both certified and pre-certified accounting professionals and bookkeepers. This involves cultivating and enhancing a deep understanding of FreshBooks while ensuring optimal partner engagement.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Accountant Channel team and partners to meet marketing channel objectives, actively educating and advocating for partners throughout their certification journey. Additionally, your responsibilities will entail developing and managing partner resources, training materials, and educational content to bolster the success of the Accountant Channel program.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide Accounting Partners in maximizing the utilization of FreshBooks’ features, offering support through various channels.
  • Become a subject matter expert in FreshBooks Accounting, sharing knowledge effectively and creating valuable content for partners.
  • Provide dedicated premium support to partners for product-related inquiries and assistance.
  • Collaborate with the Accountant Channel Team to address partner queries and escalations effectively.
  • Assist the Accounting Product Manager in building strong relationships across departments within FreshBooks.
  • Develop training materials for the Support team and contribute to content creation for newsletters and other resources.
  • Collaborate with the Support Quality Analyst to enhance customer satisfaction initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Two years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Passion for assisting and educating others.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software such as FreshBooks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting accounting issues within Accounting Software like FreshBooks.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • CPA designation or in-progress.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with departments like marketing or sales.
  • Background in providing customer support to self-employed professionals.
  • Dedication to delivering empathetic and solution-oriented support.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain meaningful customer relationships.
  • Interest in mastering product knowledge in Accounting Software and learning management tools.
