OpenTable is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Product Manager to join our Diner Engagement team, which is responsible for enhancing the core Diner Product Experience. This role focuses on driving direct traffic to our consumer products by offering unique value to diners. Key areas include creating innovative restaurant discovery experiences, boosting diner loyalty to OpenTable, and fostering a passionate dining community. We seek a strategic problem solver with a strong design and product sense, excellent data analysis skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally across the business.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will develop the product vision and strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with Consumer Marketing. Your leadership will be key to delivering successful outcomes and delighting our users.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement product strategies that enhance the diner experience and drive growth.
  • Secure buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Ensure cohesive execution of product strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, iterating as necessary.

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Align product and marketing strategies with the Consumer Marketing team.
  • Ensure effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies with the Product Marketing Management team.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to meet market demands and gather feedback.

Cross-functional Team Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality product features.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.

Data Analysis, Market, and Consumer Insights:

  • Conduct data analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and strategies.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs for diner engagement initiatives.

Design and Product Sense:

  • Apply strong design and product sense to create engaging user experiences.
  • Work with design teams to ensure product features are visually appealing and user-friendly.
  • Continuously iterate on product design based on feedback and data insights.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes to senior leadership.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Design, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a B2C environment.
  • Proven track record of successful product strategy execution.
  • Strong experience with Consumer Marketing, PMM, and Sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities.
  • Experience with AB testing.
  • Strong design and product sense with a user-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range for this remote U.S.-based role is $120,000-$140,000 CAD.
  • Additional compensation includes an annual cash bonus, equity grant, health benefits, flexible spending account, retirement benefits, life insurance, paid time off, and parental leave.

Estimated Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary for similar roles: $62,500 — $107,500/year
