The Role: This position at Circuit is unique and encompasses a wide range of technical challenges typical of a startup environment. It involves a blend of pre-sales and third-line technical support, with a focus on directly resolving approximately half of the encountered bugs and triaging the rest. Therefore, significant engineering experience, problem-solving abilities, and customer support expertise are required.

As the inaugural member of the technical support team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping both the role itself and the department. There are also leadership prospects for the right individual as the team expands.

Your Profile: We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in similar roles at a Senior+ level, preferably in startup environments, or with a background in software engineering and technical support. Key qualifications include proficiency in full-stack development, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, NextJs, and excellent communication skills in English.

A Typical Day Includes:

  • Resolving medium to high-priority bugs and providing technical guidance to customers.
  • Engaging in customer calls and asynchronous conversations to support implementation.
  • Handling technical support tickets and improving documentation to streamline future workflows.

What You Won’t Be Doing:

  • Participating in daily stand-ups or frequent sprints.
  • Compromising on quality or rushing to meet deadlines.
  • People management or working extensively with junior staff.
