About the Position:

The Marketing team is instrumental in driving Remote’s growth. Through various channels like product marketing, performance marketing, events, communications, campaigns, and content, we promote Remote to generate revenue and establish it as a global leader in HR and remote work.

Join our Content & SEO team as a Senior Manager, Website Operations. Collaborate closely with the Director of Content & SEO to maintain and improve the operational efficiency of our website. As a pivotal figure, you’ll strategically oversee our website sprint processes, ensuring seamless coordination with growth engineering and design teams to execute our ambitious website roadmap effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Extensive experience managing intricate website roadmaps, blending creative insight with technical proficiency.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership in managing web operations teams, fostering innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Collaboration: Ability to lead and integrate efforts across diverse functional teams, leveraging all perspectives to achieve business objectives.
  • Technical Knowledge: Profound understanding of web architecture, advanced website management practices, and CMS platforms, preferably Contentful.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate complex web strategies clearly and engagingly.
  • Project Management: Advanced project management skills with a history of delivering projects on time and within scope, effectively managing resources and timelines.
  • Background: Experience in fast-paced or startup environments is highly valued. Prior remote and asynchronous work experience is advantageous.
  • Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Direct the website sprint process, aligning it with broader company strategies and ensuring effective collaboration across technical and creative teams.
  • Team Management: Build and manage the website operations team, mentoring staff and scaling the team as needed to support business growth and complex projects.
  • Roadmap Execution: Continually develop and execute the website roadmap, prioritizing projects according to strategic business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for all website updates, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and technical precision.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Enhance team integration by closely collaborating with content, SEO, development, and design teams.
  • Problem Solving: Rapidly address and resolve operational challenges to maintain superior website functionality and user experience.
  • Advanced Project Management: Oversee complex projects, coordinating closely with project management staff and various departments.
