As a Senior Product Designer at Circle, your responsibilities transcend mere interface design. You play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our community engagement SaaS platform, with considerable autonomy and significant responsibilities. Your contributions will directly influence user experiences and design outcomes, propelling Circle’s advancement in a sector that not only holds cultural significance but also serves as a substantial economic driver on a global scale. Your role will be instrumental in realizing Circle’s vision of becoming the premier platform for creators seeking to expand their communities and monetize their content.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive design projects from inception to launch, ensuring exceptional UX/UI design.
  • Develop intricate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Utilize analytics and user data to identify design opportunities, enhance user experience, and inform design decisions.
  • Effectively communicate design rationale to senior leadership, developers, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape, monitoring competitor activities and emerging trends in technology, design methodologies, and user engagement.
  • Proactively research advancements in the broader design and tech realms, introducing innovative ideas.
  • Engage in diverse forms of communication, including asynchronous methods, to update teams, pose pertinent queries, and resolve design-related obstacles.
  • Regularly assess live applications, assuming full responsibility for the UI and UX of assigned features.
  • Actively participate in the review process as features near launch, ensuring adherence to the highest UI and UX standards.
  • Collaborate closely with developers during implementation, providing design guidance and ensuring fidelity to the original design.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Strong alignment with our company values.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and comprehension) at a CEFR Level C1 / ILR Level 5.
  • 6+ years of product design experience, with a robust portfolio showcasing UX/UI proficiency.
  • Mastery of Figma, demonstrating the ability to create detailed, high-fidelity design mockups and prototypes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex design concepts persuasively.
  • Data-driven approach, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously while fostering effective collaboration across multiple departments.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a seamless and pixel-perfect end product.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred.
