The Savings team at Lumos is crafting a Spend Management Platform – a comprehensive view of SaaS expenditure. Think of it like a personal finance app, but for businesses. Our goal? To optimize our customers’ returns on SaaS investments πŸ’Έ.

Lumos stands out in this arena thanks to our platform approach; our App Store and Access Review tools allow us to correlate access and usage with spending data, empowering customers to make informed, data-driven choices.

The Savings team tackles intriguing challenges, from automating document transcription using cutting-edge LLMs to modeling complex financial schemas and reconciling purchase orders with actual expenses. We’re seeking a highly motivated staff engineer to help lay the groundwork for the future of our Spend Management Platform πŸ—οΈ. This is a leadership role within our engineering organization.

✨ Your Role:

  • Architect and design core systems and data models for spend management.
  • Develop robust data pipelines to support our spend management products.
  • Implement automation for parsing spend data from PDFs using refined models.
  • Oversee regression testing for our AI interfaces.
  • Drive the evolution of our architectural vision in collaboration with our foundational and product platform teams.
  • Elevate the team by establishing technical best practices and mentoring engineers.

πŸ’° Salary Range:

$185,000 – $240,000. Please note that this range is an estimate; actual pay may vary based on skills and experience.
