We are seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to:

  • Spearhead development and infrastructure enhancements for an advanced Ethereum smart contract platform alongside accomplished PhDs and industry leaders.
  • Contribute to groundbreaking technology poised to become a pivotal component of the crypto landscape.
  • Engage with cutting-edge tools to architect and implement efficient systems while contributing to backend and ZK proof libraries.
  • Influence foundational technical decisions crucial for scaling in the early stages.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Rust, C++, or other high-performance languages.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing production applications on AWS using orchestration and containerization tools (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • Enthusiasm for tackling complex software projects and optimizing performance.
  • Preference given to candidates with startup or founding experience in demanding engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with Ethereum’s technical intricacies is advantageous.
